Kaiden is a 9 year old boy who was diagnosed with Refractory Focal Epilepsy when he was 7. He is verbal but his developmental level is delayed by a couple of years. Kaiden has many seizures and a lot of his life is affected by his epilepsy, such as learning, interacting with others and the possibility of emergency treatment or hospitalisation.

Kaiden supports the West Coast Eagles in the AFL and enjoys fishing, water sports, boating playing play station and watching DVD’s. His favourite shows are The Simpsons and Pokemon. His favourite movies are Shrek and Finding Nemo.

Kaiden’s number 1 Starlight wish is to see the snow. The reason he chose this as his number 1 wish is because he has never seen it before and would like to try snowboarding and throw snow balls.

We hope that Kaiden and his family have an amazing time this winter and this Starlight experience creates life long memories for them all.
