Her Wish: To swim with the Dolphins
Rachel is a lovely 8 year old girl from Brisbane who is fighting the battle of her life with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Unlike most kids her age who are learning to read and write and play sports, Rachel has been in and out of hospital, and undergoing vigorous medical treatment.
Rachel loves music and can be often seen bopping away to her favourite tunes with her little brother and sister. She also loves Ballet, and with the assistance of Starlight, she is now learning the fine art of ballet at her local ballet school, where her teacher tells us she is a natural.
Through your generosity, you will be enabling Rachel to fulfil her special Starlight Wish of swimming with the dolphins. Together with her family, Rachel will be travelling down for a week of fun in the sun with the dolphins at Coffs Harbour. Starlight has also organised a very private and special swim with a little dolphin named Bella. Rachel can’t wait to get down there to enjoy her ultimate dream and we can’t wait to see her little face light up as she gets in the water for this special event.
